⏰ What are check-in and check-out times?
Our standard check in time is 4:00 PM
Our checkout time is 10:00 AM
Depending on availability and schedule, we may be able to adjust these times by an hour. Please feel free to call ahead to see if this is an option for your booking.
🍳 Is there a restaurant on site?
No, there is no restaurant on site. We provide a complimentary coffee/tea station, fruit bowl, and access/use of a refrigerator/freezer and large furnished kitchen. You're welcome to prepare and/or store any food you'd like during your stay. Many guests elect to bring groceries from town to prepare here on site or store leftovers after trying out one of the many dining options in nearby towns.
There are a number of restaurants in Calais, Eastport, and Perry within 25 minutes of the Lodge.
Guests enjoy access to oven, stove, refrigerators/freezers, fresh cold well water, and all the kitchen utensils and furnishings you'll need to enjoy your stay.

🐾 Are you Pet friendly?
No, we have a no pets policy for the Lodge bookings.
🔥 Is there a hot tub?
Yes! We recently installed a 7 person hot tub available outside on the deck overlooking the lake/mountains. We encourage reservations. Hot tub towels are available in the breezeway.
📅 What is your cancellation policy?
Because we are a small boutique property, we only have 7 well appointed rooms available for booking and as such we have a strict cancellation policy in place. For individual suite bookings cancelled more than 90 days prior to check in are fully refundable, between 60-90 days, 10 % refundable, less than 30 days, 0% refundable. For our "Guest Lodge" or "Full Lodge" bookings, these are non-refundable.
📶 Is there wifi or cell service at the Lodge?
Yes! We have high speed complimentary wifi through our Starlink satellite available for guest use on a number of networks. Cell service is also available though it does get spotty depending on where you are on the 560 acre property.
🚭 What is your smoking policy?
We have a no smoking policy for anywhere in the building or guest rooms. No smoking, vaping, or drug substances are permitted. You are welcome to smoke and vape outside of the building at least 20 feet away.
📍 How do we get to the Lodge?
We have two entrances. One entrance is via the front entrance entering from the Calais direction on Western/Goulding Lake road. We also have a back entrance off of Howard Lake Road coming from the Eastport direction. Google maps will consistently bring you through the front road, and Waze/Apple may also bring you via the back way.
During our winter and early spring "mud season" we recommend entering via the front entrance (Western/Goulding).
🛶 What amenities are included?
Guests have access to a wide range of amenities including kayaks, paddleboards, hiking trails, outdoor games, and indoor entertainment such as billiards, foosball, and streaming services. Some amenities may be seasonal. The Hot tub is open year round.
🏡 Can I book the entire Lodge?
Yes! We have options to book either the entire "Guest Lodge" that has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and accommodates up to 16 guests, or to book both the "Guest" and the "Main Lodge" with 7 total guest rooms, 6 bathrooms, and accommodates up to 22 guests.

Yes! We invite you to reach out directly to discuss pricing and availability for any events you'd like to have. We have had reunions, weddings, beach days, etc. here at the Lodge. Please call/email to coordinate and review pricing/availability.
🚗 Parking & Access
Free on-site parking is available for all guests. During winter months, we recommend vehicles equipped for snow conditions (AWD/4WD). The lodge is accessible year-round.. If you are hauling up any trailers or other large extended vehicles, please coordinate with us on best location to park.
🛏️ Do all the rooms have their own bathroom?
Each of our guest suites has it's own bathroom except for the two economy rooms - the "Beaver" and the "Pheasant" rooms which share a bathroom.
❄️🔥 Is there AC and/or heat at the Lodge?
Yes! We have radiant floor heat throughout the lodge as well as space heaters available for additional customizable comfort in each of the guest rooms. We also have mini split wall units for ac to keep our guests cool and comfortable. Many guests also enjoy a cool evening breeze by opening a window depending on the season.
